Free Postage!!

An ongoing issue with pictures and my computer has rather brought this to a standstill recently, still need to spend some time attending but will try this post!

From now (11pm Sunday) for 24 hours Stampin’ Up! are offering free shipping on ALL orders which  is a very rare offer.  However small (or indeed large) your order is you won’t pay the normal £4.95 p&p charge.

Here is a link if you fancy  stocking up with anything: http://www2.stampinup.com/ECWeb/default.aspx?dbwsdemoid=5010577

NEW products!!

I do always seem to be apologising on here as I can't keep up with myself.

A post goes on Facebook everyday so please follow if you are that way inclined BUT I know not everyone is so will try harder again to update the Blog on my computer.

I've just added a link to the new Autumn/Winter catalogue in the side bar - if you would like a copy let me know or if you fancy a chart to play with new products and see them for real give me a shout.

I shall add some more pics tomorrow to update you a little with the last few weeks.

Christmas again

Thanks to everyone that popped along to Yandles Handmade Craft Market last week - despite the slightly inclement weather which was a shame.

I then popped off to Snowdonia for the week and have actually had a week off crafting - just returning in time to make another Christmas card of the week!

This one is made with the Colourful Seasons bundle and another challenging colour combo of Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Night of Navy and Tranquil Tide.

I'll pop back with anything else that was missed last week and have an order going in on Monday 31st if anyone 'needs' anything!

Handmade Craft Market

Fingers crossed for the weather tomorrow as this afternoon has been horrible!

I'll be at Yandles Handmade Craft Market in Martock from 10 until 4.30 selling lots of lovely  cards & gifts made with Stampin' Up! products (including some daisy frames) and will hopefully be demo-ing some stamps and available for you to peruse the catalogue and treat yourself to some products yourself.

These are some of the frames heading for the market:

Daisies!

I also seemed to start something off last week with a new picture I made and have used as a cover photo on my Facebook page.

On page 183 of the Annual Catalogue there is a list of all our 50 colours mixed up to show how well all the families blend and tone together and I wanted to do something with it, so I made this:

, It does show off the colours nicely doesn't it?
Each 'flower' is made from 3 of the daisy punches (so popular we currently can't order them because demand has far outstripped supply) and the centre is one of the matching stamps, stamped in the same colour and punched out with a circle punch.

I've made some smaller versions too I'll pop back with.

July offers

And it's straight back to my latest Christmas card because Stampin' Up! have some offers for you this month.

The first one is that if you spend £45 this month you get a Bonus Days code for £4.50 that you can spend with Stampin' Up! during August (this applies to each multiple of £45 you spend).

The most exciting offer though is a joining offer, we all want to join again.

For your £99 joining fee you get £195 worth of Stampin' Up! goodies, how fab is that?

Firstly you get to choose £130 worth of whatever you want from the catalogue, then you get a free Carols for Christmas stamp set which is brand new and will be in the Autumn/Winter catalogue, this a card I've made from my set:

These are the stamps in the set:

There is also a co-ordinating thinlit set and you can buy this within your £130 or get it from next month.

The other pack you get free contains a pack of grid paper, a bone folder, 2 x 'D' blocks for your stamps, a pair of paper snips and a snail adhesive.

It's pretty good isn't it?  So if you need to add to your stash and want lots extra for your money this is the way to do it.
If you have any questions let me know - remember there is no obligation to do anything at all after 'joining' you can just buy your initial pack and that's you done so there is nothing to lose.

Christmas catch up

Since my London visit I went travelling again and didn't get to set up posts before being busy at work so yet more catching up before I fill you in on the great offers Stampin' Up! have for you this month.

There have been 2 Christmas cards of the week, which were:

This one using the Letters For You stamp set, Large Letter Framelits and some super snowflakes from the Seasonal Layer thinlits.

And a card using the Flurry of Wishes stamp set again which I challenged myself to try a bit of a different colour combo with Berry Burst and Bermuda Bay.  I've sneaked in some of the new glitter enamel dots on this one too.

Saturday 24 June 2017

Hooray!

Just a little post to say that we made our target of 800 cards yesterday, in fact we even made a few more!

This is a pic of us 6 'VIP' demonstrators:

I sat with Beth and Sarah for our birthday party themed day!:

I'll fill you in on more of the day at some point!

Birthday Wishes Challenge

Today is the day of the challenge where I will be making 100 of these cards:

They have to be simple but I am doing 3 different colour ways to mix it up a little!

You can imagine there was bit of prep but I'm all ready now, with a few spares in case of crisis!

I'll let you know how it goes and if you are Facebook enabled we will be 'Live' on the Stampin' Up! UK page at 10.25 then 3 more times through the day!!

Birthday Wishes Challenge

Did you know that Stampin' Up!  support Ronald McDonald House Charities and that there are lots of the houses in the UK?
I certainly didn't for a while and the houses do a great job keeping families close by when their children are receiving medical treatment far from home.

Each catalogue has a stamp set to support the cause and this time it's the 'Sharing Sweet Thoughts' set shown below.  For each set sold SU donate £2 to RMHC.

This weekend marks the start of the Birthday Wishes challenge for Stampin' Up! where they are  trying to make 10,000 cards to donate.  I am one of 6 demonstrators who are going to one of the houses in London for a birthday party filled day where we are making 100 cards each with this set!

These 2 cards are not ones I will be making as they need to be quicker but just an idea of what you can do with the set.

If you are Facebook savvy the SU UK page will have several Facebook live videos of us through the day!!

Keep cool!

Wowsers isn't it hot!  The heat doesn't like me very much which is a bit annoying but I have managed to make a card for the occasion!!

This little note card uses the Cool Treats stamp set and co-ordinating framelits (and a combo of Circle and Oval Layering/Stitched Shapes Framelits).

I've also had a quick play with the Tranquil Tulips hostess set this week:

The tulips are so effective, these ones are in Berry Burst and fussy cut out and added to the card.
A simple card but a request needed quickly.

And then there is Christmas card of the week:

The stamps used for this are from the set Peace This Christmas and the card is Crumb Cake.

I'll be back next time to update you with my Ronald McDonald adventures this week!

Tuesday 13 June 2017

Live every moment ...

This is a card using the main stamp and framelit from the Ribbon of Courage bundle:

I've used Powder Pink and Melon Mambo for the colours, the sentiment is from the set too.

It's a lovely, thoughtful set which will be good for fundraising too.

Saturday 10 June 2017

Life is a Beautiful Thing

While I am using the Colourful Theory Suite I thought I would try a fairly quick card to use different stamps and paper from within the set.

This is the paper stack I have been using:

The colours in it are Berry Burst, Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Dapper Denim and Whisper White and there are a selection of completely different designs in each colourway.
You get 48 sheets (in 6"x6"), 4 each of 12 double-sided designs for £9.

Friday 9 June 2017

'Tis the Season

Christmas card of the week is brought to you by Dapper Denim and Whisper White this week.

The paper is from a new Colour Theory DSP paper stack and the stamp set and thinlits are from the Colourful Seasons Bundle which really does have lots of opportunities.

And a new product update - if you are already a Stampin' Up! fan you have probably used their dimensionals (3D pads) - you can now buy Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.  You get 720 for £3.75 and I think this is a really exciting product!

Wednesday 7 June 2017

New Products!

A box of goodies has arrived to play with.

The back of this card uses a new large stamp called 'Marbled'.  I have used Soft Sky to ink it to keep it subtle but I already think I will be using this a lot.

The stamps and framelits are from the 'Ribbon of Courage' bundle which was inspired by Million Sales Achiever Patty Bennett.  More on this set to come another day.

I think these flowers are lovely.  I've also added a touch of Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon.

This card was based on one in the catalogue - don't forget how much inspiration there can be in there sometimes.

Monday 5 June 2017

And finally ...

The last three colours are Fresh Fig:

Berry Burst:

And Powder Pink:

Lots more of these all to come - I think they are a great colour family.

Friday 2 June 2017

Introducing ...

This weeks Christmas card is brought to you by the new colour 'Tranquil Tide' (apologies for the picture quality):

This is rather a nice shade that looks more blue or green depending on what other colours you team it with.

The Seasonal Bells stamp set and matching punch are in the new catalogue too.

Thursday 1 June 2017

New catalogue!!

Another fun packed technology week for different reasons!

I'll start with my most recent Facebook post which is to say that the new catalogue is now LIVE!!
I'll be introducing the new In Colours over the next few days - this is the first one, Lemon Lime Twist:

I'm rather a fan of this colour anyway so it's very exciting that it is a Stampin' Up! colour.
This card also features some of the new Designer Series Paper and the Daisy Delight stamp set and matching punch.

Then I had planned to share this card made with the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set anyway but the bee has become a rather more poignant feature in the last week or so:

And finally the last Christmas card of the week with my favourite Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and matching punch:

Friday 26 May 2017

This week ...

Quite a lot on this week so there have been lots of quick cards!

This first one took a little longer though and I made whilst it is nice and sunny.  This sunflower uses the Eastern Palace suite and is based on the flower by Patty Bennett (https://uk.pinterest.com/pin/499336677424542004/).

This just shows how versatile these dies are too.

Val did this super project with us at Bloomin' Buds downline this week:

It's a great little treat pouch with a packet of seeds in.  This one is in the new colour of Fresh Fig - the new daisy punch is rather nice too!

Then Christmas card of the week made an appearance!

And this is the card I made for swaps at our meeting this week.  Again, inspired by Pinterest and using the daisy punch again.

Thursday 18 May 2017

Simple but effective

And for the next instalment I've got a selection of fairly simple but effective cards.

The Kinda Eclectic stamp set is retiring but still available - sadly the butterfly punches have sold out.

The Custom Tee stamp set and framelits are also retiring but there are lots of combinations to be made with both of them - this card just gives a small taster.

The stamp set Big on Birthdays isn't retiring - hooray!
I've just added some colour on this one with Stampin' Write Markers and a touch of Wink of Stella which doesn't show up brilliantly in the photo.

An example I think of how a little can go a long way.

Tuesday 16 May 2017

More catch up

So, my computer still isn't entirely my friend but I think we can proceed!

Starting with another Eastern Palace suite card using some of the matching DSP and a different thinlit:

This card uses the colour combo Fresh Fig and Dapper Denim.

Then there is a little notecard using the Succulent stamp set (currently on sale and retiring):

And finally for today last weeks Christmas fox!  This was a CASE of a card I pinned a while ago made by Valerie Moody of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team - it's rather effective for something different isn't it?

Sunday 14 May 2017

Old and New

Got to love technology haven't you! I've had a right toot with my computer not quite doing what I wanted this week and the fact that I can't use blogger effectively on my portable devices means I need to have another catch up!

I'll start with foxes!

This was my Wedding Anniversary card - I've been married quite a while!
I also used a fox for Christmas card of the week but turns out I can't add it at the moment!

So, a new thinlit instead!

This Happy Birthday sentiment is rather lovely isn't it?
I've cut it out in the new colours of Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide and stamped the background with 2 stamps from the Playful Backgrounds stamp set which is staying.

I'll see if my computer will assist again tomorrow!

Saturday 6 May 2017

Succulents and new stuff!

I was a bit late getting to use my Succulent Garden Suite and now it is retiring which is a shame (you can currently get the stamps and framelits reduced though if you are tempted).

I think they are so effective and great for a different present idea.
I've used Garden Green and Sweet Sugarplum card for these 2 and sponged both with Rich Razzleberry.

More importantly I have new catalogues in my possession!  I haven't quite got all the card colours yet (but nearly).  If you think you aren't on my list for distribution let me know!

Thursday 4 May 2017

More Eastern Palce

A couple more Eastern Palace examples.
Just a simple one which shows off how lovely this die is:

And then I've done similar but slightly different and nominate this card in Dapper Denim and Tranquil Tide as Christmas card of the week!
I've used Glimmer Paper for sparkle and a couple of extra dies to the card above - loving this Eastern Palace Suite!

Tuesday 2 May 2017

Enjoy Today

Stampin' Up! have provided some card designs to start us off with the Eastern Palace Suite, you can have them too if you purchase a bundle, this card is one of them:

This card uses a Fresh Fig card base (rather nice isn't it?) and paper, stickers, ink, stamps, thinlits and tassel from the premier bundle currently on offer.

Hopefully by the time you read this I will have ordered new catalogues and be on my way to deciding which other items to pre-order and get working on to share with you!

Monday 1 May 2017

Eastern Palace Suite

So, today is the day you can pre-purchase the Eastern Palace Suite from the new catalogue.

You will be able to buy the stamp set and framelits in a bundle in the new catalogue from 1st June but for this month only Stampin' Up! have put together 2 bumper bundles where you can have some free product too.

These are the options:

I will be sharing samples this week so you can see some of the products 'in action'.
Each bundle also includes 3 of the new in colours which are Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide.

If you were to purchase the Premier Bundle then you could spend another £5 and choose £31 worth of FREE products for joining Stampin' Up! - worth thinking about if you are in the market for a treat.

New products!

My last customer orders got delivered the same day as my new 'Easter Palace' Suite bundle so I thought I had better use it to make some little thank you cards!

The first thing to mention is that the bundle also included some of the new in colours!
Two of them are used here - Fresh Fig and Tranquil Tide - and of course they are lovely.

Secondly, how fab are the dies?  I've actually layered 2 to make the central image, the stamped corners and sentiment are also in the stamp set.

Pop back tomorrow for details on how you could own this soon too!
