And some more!

And more butterflies!

This is one of the notecards I've decorated today.

I've used the Watercolor Wings set again and the leaves from the Butterfly Basics set.

I've used Old Olive for the leaves and Wisteria Wonder & Elegant Eggplant for the butterfly and spotty border.  With a touch of  Rich Razzleberry for the butterfly body and antenna.

Both butterflies are cut out with the new Bold Butterfly thinlits and finished with a pearl.

There are so many gorgeous combinations to be done with this set and I haven't used all the stamps in it yet.

Last chance to get £130 worth of product PLUS 2 free stamp sets all for just £99 by joining tomorrow.

More butterflies

This is one of the other cards I made using the Watercolor Wings set.

For the background I have embossed a piece of Whisper White with another new square embossing folder called Fluttering - isn't it lovely?

Both of the large butterflies are stamped in the same way as the large one on yesterdays post but with Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo.  For this one though I have then used the Butterflies framelits which were a carry over from the seasonal catalogue to cut the top one - another great effect.

The bottom butterfly is cut from Bermuda Bay using the second framelit in the new Bold Butterfly set.

This sentiment is from a new hostess set called Floral Wings which handily enough also has a butterfly that fits the large framelit above!

Gorgeous butterflies

As soon as I saw a sneak peek of the Watercolor Wings set I knew it was a must have.

I had a quick play yesterday and was addicted, it's fab!

It's a two-step stamping photopolymer set - with matching framelits.

For the base of this card I have used the new thick Whisper White cardstock.

I've then used a piece of the thinner Whisper White and embossed it with the new Brick Wall embossing folder.  This folder is 6x6" too which is new to Stampin' Up!

The butterflies are made up from several of the stamps in the set, for example the larger butterfly uses 5 in total.  There are 15 stamps in the set which includes 3 sentiments and this gives lots of options for different butterfly combos - some more of which I will share tomorrow.

The colours used on this card are Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe.  The sentiment is one from the set and I've punched it out with my new Washi Label punch.

The stamps and framelits are available in a bundle for the excellent price of £32.50 if you're tempted!

Balloon Team Swap

This card is one I made for team swaps at the last Bloomin' Buds meeting.

I've used the new colours of Tip Top Taupe and Delightful Dijon.

The clouds are from the new Sprinkles of Life set used in my last post - cut with matching punch.

The balloon basket and sentiment are from Celebrate Today, another carryover set which I'm pleased about.

The balloon itself is cut from the scrummy new neutral DSP which includes the gold paper I have used here.  I really must use more of my paper and not keep it for 'best'!  I cut 3 of the shapes from the framelits which match the stamp set, folded each in half and put them together to form this 3D effect.

A sneak appearance from the Confetti Stars border punch along the bottom of the white layer too.

Sprinkles of Life

This card was the 'make and take' I made for our last Bloomin' Buds gathering.

It uses the new colour Cucumber Crush as a base.   The tag is made from Mint Macaron and punched with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  Some of the new ribbon had to be added too.

There are loads of great little stamps in the set, I've used a little flower on the main card and some 'sprinkles' on the white card strip down the side - stamped in delightful dijon.

There is a matching punch!!!

So I have stamped the tree top and bird and punched them out but also just punched some little flowers, leaves and the tree trunk.

A great set, I hope I can make lots more samples with this set and punch.

You Can Create It! challenge

Another month and another challenge.

This is the kit I received in May (not showing 2 pearls that I might not of seen in the envelope!):

And this is the card I made:

Card colours are Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzazz and I've added Daffodil Delight - rather a zingy combo for me but it's good to try different things.

I've used the Flower Patch stamp set with matching framelits which I'm really glad is in the catalogue again as I haven't used it enough this year!  I've mounted these on a couple of die cut circles and the doily.

Then I used a new punch!!  I didn't think I needed the 'Banner Triple' punch but I so did - you do too!
You cut your card to one of the three sizes the punch takes and it nips the end to make a banner, I've used all 3 sizes on this card - just because I could.  Hee hee.

I've finished by adding the bakers twine and adding the candy dot brad base with a gem as I didn't know I had pearls.

You can see some of the other entries on Teri's blog here.

Free craft goodies?! Yes please!

A bit of a plug today before I return to showing you cards.

If you have a sizeable wish list it is well worth considering joining Stampin' Up! this month.

Don't be scared, joining doesn't mean you have to do events and workshops (although you are very welcome to).  It means you can buy all your favourite goodies cheap for a while, simple as that.  If after a few months you don't want to reach the quarterly limit you just stop.

The great offer this month is that you can join by spending £99.  For this you choose £130 worth of goodies from the catalogue - whatever you like.
This is fabulous enough but for this month only you can then choose 2 free stamp sets of your choice - whatever the value.

A great offer and super way to get a more expensive wooden set you fancy but haven't quite got round to getting.

If you'd like to consider this as an option let me know.  This link should take you there if you want to get cracking: Join Now!

There are even some rather good weekly deals too - have a look at my link - if anyone has an issue with the link please let me know!

It's nearly here!

The new catalogue is available tomorrow for us all to treat ourselves again - we deserve it don't we?!

This card is one we did as a make and take at Telford recently using the new set Awesomely Artistic.

The set includes 9 stamps that give lots of variation for being a little arty without having to be too precise - ideal.

Colours used were the new in colours of Mint Macaron, Delightful Dijon and Tip Top Taupe.

The dragonfly has been cut out and added with a couple of pearls and a faceted button.
I've included the envelope so you can see another of the lovely stamps.

The wording is from the set called One Big Meaning.

I'll see what else I can tempt you with in the coming days.
